About Furain Guest House
Owners Dave and Alison Walker welcome visitors to their family run guest house, offering guests a perfect location for both business and sight seeing. The family dog, Tarn, loves to meet new guests and is much loved in reviews on TripAdvisor.
Furain serves as an excellent base from
which to explore both Royal Deeside
and the city of Aberdeen. There is a
local bus service just outside the door,
offering regular transport to both
destinations. With the new A90
Aberdeen city bypass Furain is now only a
10 minute drive to the airport or Stonehaven.
Limited off street parking is available.
The guest house is only a couple of miles from Drum Castle, a beautiful start to Scotland's Castle Trail. . .
It is also ideally situated for golfers wishing to play some of the many courses in the area. The Deeside Way walk from Aberdeen to Banchory passes through Peterculter, less than a five minute walk from Furain.
